What Your Child Will Learn
Our curriculum focuses on core knowledge in literacy, mathematics, language, cognitive development, science, and gross and fine motor skills, guided by standards set forth by the Texas Education Agency. Every student also participates in a daily religion lesson, building a spiritual foundation alongside their academic growth.
Learning at St. Peter is hands-on and thematic, built around your child's everyday world. Children follow a daily routine that balances indoor and outdoor activities, group and individual time, and both child-selected and teacher-directed experiences. We use positive reinforcement and positive redirection in a warm, respectful environment where every child is encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Our Fundamentals (3s) and Pre-Kindergarten students also participate in Discovery Day on Fridays, where they explore new concepts through hands-on experiments designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.
Growing with Your Child
For many families, St. Peter Preschool is just the beginning. Our Pre-Kindergarten program is specifically designed to prepare students for the structure and expectations of kindergarten. By the end of Pre-K, children are building skills like letter recognition and early phonics, number sense and simple math concepts, following multi-step directions, and sustaining focus on tasks independently. These aren't abstract benchmarks. They're the specific skills your child will need to walk into kindergarten with confidence.
Families who are already part of our community have a natural pathway into our growing K-5 elementary program. Your child already knows the teachers, the routines, and the friends beside them. That continuity matters.
