St. Peter Christian School is building a complete, accredited K-5 elementary program one grade at a time, starting with kindergarten in Fall 2026. Each year, we add the next grade level so that the students who start with us can continue their education here through 5th grade. This is intentional. By growing alongside our students, we're able to build each grade with care, hire the right teachers, and create a school culture that's shaped by the families who are part of it from the beginning.

Why We're Growing This Way
There are schools that launch multiple grades at once and lose their vision in the process. We chose a different path. Adding one grade per year allows us to do a few things that matter to us and to the families we serve.
Every grade gets a strong start. Rather than spreading resources thin across six grades in year one, we invest fully in each grade as it opens. That means thoughtful curriculum planning, the right teacher for each classroom, and the time to get it right before adding more.
Your child's class grows together. The students who enter kindergarten in 2026 will move through every grade alongside the same community of classmates, building friendships and bonds that deepen year after year. By 5th grade, these students will have grown up together from the very beginning.
Families help shape the program. A founding class isn't just first in line. It's first in influence. The families who join now will help shape school traditions, provide feedback that informs how the program develops, and build the community that future families will join.
What to Expect Academically
As each grade is added, the academic program will build on the foundation established in kindergarten. Our curriculum is TEKS-aligned and delivered through the same hands-on, small-group approach that defines our kindergarten program. Core instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and daily faith formation will continue at every grade level, with increasing depth and complexity as students grow.
Enrichment areas including fine arts, physical education, and age-appropriate technology integration will also expand as the program develops. Our goal is a well-rounded education that challenges students academically while nurturing their character and faith.
Built for the Long Term
St. Peter's new 22,000 square foot facility was designed with the full K-5 program in mind from the start. The building includes eight oversized classrooms (900 square feet each), a full gymnasium, and a commercial kitchen. The space is ready, and we're happily growing into it one class at a time.
St. Peter is accredited at both the national and state level through NLSA and LSAC, and we're a Herzog Foundation sponsored school. This isn't a pilot program or an experiment. It's a school with the infrastructure, accreditation, and institutional support to be here for the long haul.
