St. Peter Christian School is launching a K-5 elementary program in Fall 2026 starting with Kindergarten, housed in a brand-new 22,000 square foot facility in Northlake, TX. Built on the same Christ-centered foundation as our established preschool, our elementary program combines rigorous, TEKS-aligned academics with daily faith formation, small class sizes, and the kind of personal attention that only comes from a school designed to know every child by name. St. Peter Christian School is accredited at both the state and national level through LSAC and NLSA.

The School Day

The elementary school day runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, five days a week. Before care is available starting at 7:00 AM and after care extends to 5:00 PM, giving working families a full-day option from early morning through the afternoon. This is a full-time, traditional program with no homeschool component.

How We Teach

Our curriculum is aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and delivered through hands-on, developmentally appropriate instruction. Core subjects include reading and language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, with faith integrated as part of the academic day rather than treated as a separate add-on.

Students learn through small-group instruction, learning centers, hands-on activities, read-alouds, and guided practice that builds independence and confidence. Daily routines reinforce kindness, respect, and responsibility alongside academic growth. For a detailed look at what this means in the classroom, visit our Kindergarten page.

Beyond the Core

A strong education is more than reading and math. Alongside our core academics and daily faith formation, St. Peter students are introduced to enrichment areas that develop the whole child:

  • Fine Arts: Music, visual arts, and creative expression that build imagination and confidence.
  • Physical Education: Structured movement and active play that support both physical fitness and social development, with access to our full-size gymnasium.
  • Technology: Age-appropriate introduction to technology tools, used purposefully for skill reinforcement rather than as a substitute for instruction.

Built for Your Child

  • Small class sizes. Our classrooms are intentionally kept small so teachers can give every student individualized attention.
  • Purpose-built facility. Our new building features oversized 900 square foot classrooms, a full gymnasium, and a commercial kitchen.
  • Dual accreditation. St. Peter holds both NLSA and LSAC accreditation, verified at the national and Texas state level.
  • TEFA-eligible. St. Peter accepts Texas Education Freedom Accounts, worth up to $10,474 per student annually.

A School That Grows with Your Family

St. Peter's elementary program is being built deliberately, one grade at a time. Kindergarten opens in Fall 2026, with one additional grade added each school year through 5th grade in 2031. This means families who join now are part of a founding class, with the opportunity to shape a program from the very beginning and grow alongside it.
